We are happy to announce the list of shortlisted proposals!
72 were shortlisted from a total of 266 proposals submitted to TUKLAS Innovation Labs last November 2017.
Shortlisted proposals feature innovative ideas that can help communities become better prepared for disasters. This includes products or systems that use indigenous practices, mobile applications, and renewable energy for disaster risk reduction and management.
Proponents come from all 17 regions of the Philippines, and represent the youth, women, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, farmers, academe, and civil society organizations.
Shortlisted proposals will undergo the next round of writeshops and expert review from December 2017 to February 2018.
